Just bought a 08 cl63
Hey everyone,
I just bought myself an 08 cl63. It had about 47k miles on it and it is CPO with a warranty that covers it for three years or 135k miles.
I had a couple questions I was hoping someone would be able to answer.
First, one of the guys at the dealership told me I should sell the car right before or after the warranty runs up due to the cost of potential engine problems. Do you agree? I was hoping to be able to keep this car for as long as I could.
When trying to research this question I found an article taking about common problems with the m156 engine. They suggested replacing the cylinder head bolts and the valve buckets with those of the m159 engine. If I did this do you think I would be able to keep the car running into the future?

Post some pics if you don't mind. As with any car something is bound to break but in my ownership and experience in the car business these are one of the most reliable cars available with this kind of performance and luxury. Porsche would be at the top of my list as well. I loved the M5 when I had it but unfortunately it did have to go in for repair pretty often.

Hey - Would you mind sharing how much you paid for it? I also am looking at a '08 CL63. It is not CPO but from private party. 50K miles. Says they have aftermarket warranty for 2 more yrs and car is fully loaded with all '08 options and performance package. He initially listed for 50K and now we are at 45K. I have seen other models for 40K. What do you think is a good price? Mileage is ok but not super I feel like based on other pricings. Thank you!

I can tell you warranty worth at least two or $3000 if the car is in great shape it's worth 45 all day these cars vary a lot by condition and very minor things could mean a lot of money. It's not just mileage.
