Lowering links to my CL55K with ABC
Hi!
I want to do mine CL a little bit lower and i found this Lowering links at Ebay for a good price and a easy installation.
But i wonder how will it be when i press the ABC sport button? Will the car go back to the normal position like before you put the links on? And when im pressing the highering button the car will go low? Have i understanded it right? So after this lowering kit the car will only be able to high trought the ABC sport and with no pressing button "Comfort" Or will the car be low in all position?
Hope you can help me
Merry christmas and hapy new year.

You can set the lower links hiwever you want i have ran them for years with no issues at all. You line up your car on lowest setting to how you would like to sit lowest, after that you can raise the car simply by hitting ur abc raise button once or twice. My car sits very low but if I run into any steeper driveways or parking lot speed bumps I simpy raise it. Maje sure when you line it up the first time you are in lowest mode so that you dont get any mags on ur dash and drop the car lower than you want it. If you have any questions let me know

another way of saying what he said^^
1st make sure you're on a flat surface*. toss links in (longer in front to lower, shorter in back to lower) press ABC Raise once(give it a second) then 2 times to put it back to normal the car will now be at the height that the links are "tricking" it to think. ABC sport has no effect on height just the "stiffness".
And also dont set to low or youll trip the car to thinking something wrong and you'll get ABC warning.

Most people that use lowering links go through tires quicker than guys using lowering modules. The reason is that the car at 60+mph will actually lower itself a little bit. This still happens with the lowering links. If you use a lowering module, this bypasses this and your dialed in ride height, it stays at that height.
Just some food for thought.

I just put lowering links on about a month ago. after reading this post, I'm wondering if I should hit the "raise" botton 1 setting while cruising on the highway. I'll start doing this to see what the difference feels like. Right now it gets kinda "bouncy".

I bought links form the dealer and they were adjustable already. I then set my ride height, were the stock normal ride height is the highest point on the ABC button and then have to levels to drop lower. No issues with my tires, just from burning them off by spinning
