im about to buy me 2 new tires for my rear so the question is can i put 295/30/20 instead of factory 275/35/20 ?

I've heard of people going as wide as 305 on the back end without issues. I run 275/30/20 but do have a rubbing issue occasionally. My CL is lowered with adjustable links though.

What is ur rear factory size ?

try looking for 295/25's that may help keep it from rubbing. google around alot of muscle car guys run stupid wide tyres for 9'', 9.5'' width wheels.

I'm the 3rd owner. It had the 20's on it when I got it. There was a bit of rubbing on the rear which became more frequent after I lowered it.
