How many miles are you getting on a set of tires?

How many miles are you getting on a set of tires?
I'm curious... How many miles are you guys getting on your rear tires? I have a CL65 that I drive about 8k a year. I am getting about 4k miles for a set of rear tires which seems really low? I know this is a heavy car with a lot of torque but that still seems low...
Some additional background... The car is lowered with links (honestly probably too low at the moment), I have not had it aligned since lowering, I never run without the traction control enabled and normally drive in sport mode. It has no other mods at this time... I get on it now and again ;^) but I would not consider myself overly agressive during launch...
OH forgot to mention I have been running Hankook V12's... Maybe there is a better tire choice for my car?

I get about 8k miles, but thats 4k on each side after flipping... You should check your tires every 3-4k and have them flipped that way you can save the life of the tire. Thats if your tires are flip able.
