Just bought a CL65 today.

For once in my life, I'm actully trying to refrain from challenging the top dogs and pushing myself to accept mediocrity. I honestly don't plan to hit 10's until next year, and in 2016 I'll push for high 9's.
For me, there is no thrill in being one of the fastest too soon. I prefer to pace myself and enjoy the ride.

10.8's this year with TCU/ECU, ET Streets, and 110 octane fuel would make me happy. Hopefully this will get me in the mid to high 150's in Clayton this September (1/2 mile race).
Next year, if things go as planned, larger turbo's and intercooler, will hopefully get me mid 10's. We'll see.

I'll come down to Clayton GA one way or another... won't be racing, but I'll come spectate.

Thanks. The tickets are going on sale this week.

You know me too well.
My advice on getting a Tune in the future:
If your thinking of getting a ECU Tune, Check the Part#'s of your coil packs... the passenger and drivers side. And make sure they are the newer part#'s.. if they are not the newer part#'s, budget / save up for the new coil packs along with the tune..
Search the archives for the newer V12 Coil Pack Part#'s.. I found out the hard way, got the tune, found out I had older Part#'s, the joy of having the tune lasted about 3 days.. and then one went bad.
Even though it was expensive, it's what I had to do to make the ecu/tcu tune enjoyable.. and turned the car into a Beast..
So far so good, it's been like at least 2 years since I got the ecu/tcu tune..
But for now, have you tried the "Sneak ECU Reset" trick that resets your adaptive learning tcu driving patterns?
I do it every weekend!
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
5. Enjoy

I thought I'd recalled reading about the throttle reset over on the XF forum. I never tried it on the XF, but I will on the CL. I have no clue why I never bothered in the past.
You really missed out on the XF, with yours being as powerful as it was, I am sure the throttle reset would have been the cheapest mod you ever did LOL
