N/S front sidelight issues.....
Sometimes, when i turn the lights on, I get a "faulty sidelight L" message. Check the bulb, and sure enough, the lamp is out. take out the bulb, check it, filament ok, re-fit the bulb, re-fit the holder into the rear of the lamp unit, turn on the lights, it works...fine. turn them off, turn them back on, and it's gone out again....nothing wrong with the bulb, the holder is a bit melted on one side, maybe 1 or 2mm of the plastic holder, has receded, but the actual metal bulb holder part, is in good condition, with no corrosion at all....With the bulb illuminated, i have tried flexing the wires which go into the bottom of the holder, and all is fine......can anyone throw some light as to what could cause this intermittent fault? is there something on the light circuit that needs a re-set?
P.S. If anyone could throw some light on the Coolant! Visit workshop message as well, I would be very grateful. (Had both plugs off the power feed to the fan motor, and the fan module, and all terminals are very clean.) can't get anything to fit into the power plug, to throw 12V across the fan, but the fan does start to spin, when the engine temp climbs just above 80...
