06 SL65AMG, 13 Tesla Model S 60kwh, 02 Jaguar S-Type 3.0, 12 S550 4 Matic, 07 E320 Bluetec, 06 LX470
Cause S and CL V12's don't require the engine to be dropped, you have enough room to squeeze the mounts in their, however all R230 SL V12s require the engine to be dropped which becomes a really hefty labor intense job around 20 hrs book time

my rep said something about having to drop the sub frame. $750 still sounds very reasonable to me. i've been doing some research on here and have seen some posts quoting dealers charging $2000 for the job. then again i saw quotes of $1100 for an accumulator. am i missing something? isn't the accumulator and easy job and the part in the low $100 range?
