What is this valve for at intercooler?

What is this valve for at intercooler?-image.jpgI have never seen this valve mentioned during discussion of intercoolers and superchargers.
It has liquid under pressure and smells like alcohol.
It is not radiator coolant.
Does it need service checks?

Buick T-Type, 70 cuda, S65 and a very FAST Truck!
That is the fuel rail test port. What your smelling is gasoline. It can be used to test fuel pressure etc.
