A couple of weeks back the audio stopped working on my Comand system. Garage has quoted £525 plus tax/handling to fix it.
The garage said they'd usually suggest looking for a replacement unit on eBay but anti-theft codes are hard to obtain for Mercs. Is this true? Has anyone else replaced the Comand unit on a 2001 CL55? I believe this unit is the 2.5 version - hence the title of my post.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
