I have created a kit that includes 5w-40. Unfortunately my Mobil 1 5w-40 vendor is now only able to supply 0w-30, which I am told will be fully replacing the 5w-40 shortly. I do not know if they will be creating a new formula for 5w-40 but that was all the information they were able to give me at this time.
For this kit I used 5w-40 Pento High Performance full-synthetic oil which meets Mercedes-Benz Specifications 229.51. You can get to the kit by clicking HERE. Current pricing on the kit is $95.73* plus shipping.
