Southern California area: My tinted tails and blacked out grill to trade for OEM
Hey guys, I'm flying down to Southern California- Orange County area to pick up a 2005 CL55 on friday Night/Saturday morning and driving back to NorCal immediately. The car I'm purchasing comes with a blacked out grill and tinted tail lights, but I like the chrome bars on the grill and I like the OEM tail light color. If anyone wants to trade, PM me and i can meet you guys up and swap it for those who considered paying to get these parts blacked out. I'll take any year grill but preferably with the black over the silver paint behind the chrome and the taillights must be 03+. Here are pics of the parts:
Nice man. Most likely you'll find someone to trade but if you can't, you can always sand down the tail lights with fine sand paper till you get rid of the black tint and have them cleared again. Just time consuming but if you're a handy guy then you can knock of the job easy.
Thanks for the advice, i just dont have the time or patience to do it myself. If i cant find someone i'll just order a pair online and sell the tinted ones. I noticed you're from San Jose, I am from there too. Got any pics of your car?

Nice s bro, exactly how I would like mine. Those wheels I have on my car are 19's, CLS550 wheels. I was thinking about running the same setup with my car before but I think 19s in those wheels are better imo cause they're concave and 20's arnt. Here is a pic of my car when I had them on my car.
Yeah i agree with you i like the concave look as well but to get flush fitment with 19's means it'd be too slammed to be a daily driver so i figured with 20's i can be flush and high enough to not have to angle in and out of parking lots. I had my CLK slammed before and i just hated how much of a hassle it was to drive. Your car looks great though man thanks for sharing pics.
