according to carfax there was an accident in 2007 and structural damage was reported then and at auction years later. clean title. their "warranty" comes with a stated items contract (versus exclusionary) ... see here for covered items... does not look like it would include things like abc components
If it seems too good to be true it most likely is. My car is priced at $20k and people tell me that a car like mine can be bought for about $15,000. If a car like mine (same condition) can be bought for $15,000 then why won't people go buy the 15k car. With any German car out there buying the cheapest one on the market means ur buying urself a whole lot of headaches
That warranty is not even worth the paper it's written on with a CL. You need something that covers electronics and ABC suspension and all the components. I don't think the car is worth more than $10k retail. They are probably into it for $8k to $9k.
CL's don't hold their value. It's a shame but I can personally attest to losing tens of thousands in depreciation on a car I owned for a relatively short time. After owning one, I understand why they depreciate so quickly.
