Help inner door handle removal?
Hello,
Need help removing the inner door handles of w215 cl500 2004
Just bought renntech wooden handles and will like to know how to remove the existing leather handles so i can install the new goodies![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
PS: im referring to the arm "rest/grip" not the door actuator mechanism handle...

Once you remove the door panel following the info contained in the link I posted you will see the bolt that you need to remove to get the grab handle off.

I think the problem might be a fuse given theres no sound coming from the trunk when sending inputs (key fob, switch)
I read you can remove the license plate but i don't know how to proceed in this operation.
Any help on this?

because you head no Sounds, it may be the PSE pump fuse has either blown or that pump circuit (trunk) has gone into failsafe mode and locked out. (Also the hydraulic opening motor may be low or out of fluid as they do leak past the seals after many years.
The fuse is a 20A Yellow located in the fuse box behind the passenger seat. I don't remember the location other than it is around the middle row of the box, I think at the top. Pull each yellow fuse and check.
If you find one blown, that is your problem. If you don't, simply pulling and replacing the fuse will reset the pump electronics and all lockout circuits should work again.
Listen for the pump motor when trying to open the trunk.
