W216 CL63 AMG - Brake Pads
Hi everyone,
do you know the name of the producer of the original brake pads for CL63 W216? The thing is, that I can get TRW brake pads for about 1/2 price of the price, which Mercedes sells their brake pads for. Is it possible, that original Mercedes brake pads are actually TRW with Mercedes logo on them?

I believe you are correct. What are you doing with Rotors??

I am still researching, but I am not going to pay 1k USD for each (that's the price from MB in Europe). So, I will try to find the company that makes them for MB or find different solution. 4k for rotors is just crazy.

Right now I am thinking Textar, but still researching: http://textar.com/

why would you change rotors?

are they out of spec, are they heavily warped?

change just the brake pads.

They vibrate a lot when braking intensively...

Warped.
Check thickness and if in specs just shave them so they are straight.

If out of spec. Too thin. Then change

As i know; "SHW GmbH" which produce those Rotors for MB,,

and pads comes with "Jurid or Ferodo or TRW" as OEM for fronts,,

rears can be found with "Textar or TRW"..!
