Cool Feature with Cruise Control
I know everyone here has probably realized this a WHILE ago, but I have never used cruise control with the car, so this was new to me.
I was driving at night and decided to try cruise control for the first time in over a year since buying the car. All the lights on the speedometer to the left of the speed desired is turned off. I was really amused by this for some reason.
Oh, and on a side note today, do you guys realize that the in/out entry isnt that easy in this car?? Or is it just me? I think I'm just getting use to the Lexus.

The speeedo lighting with CC on is an unexpected plus and very un-German. Had it on my 2002 CL as well as the 03 55.
Entry and exit is, I think, as much a function of familiarity with the car or frequency of use as anything. No, a coupe will probably never be as accessible as a sedan, but try getting into and out of the new SL a few times and you will appreciate the CL even more. As far as coupes go though, the CL with its easy door opening and hinge system is really amazing, especially when you consider the driver's seating position, which is as close to optimal one can get this side of a 996 or perhaps a 360.
