Trunk Malfunction
I'm hoping someone here can help. I have a 2003 CL55 AMG with 85,000 miles used as a daily driver until several years ago when it was retired to the garage for occasional use. My problem is with the trunk. It will open automatically, but stay open only for a matter of 15-20 seconds, then shut. You have no time to put anything in or out without getting your head taken off.

2 problems
Both easy fix
Your hydrolic fluid reservoir is likely empty. Under battery in right trunk.
If that doesn't fix then you need new compressed gas openers. Easy to obtain and replace.
