rough idle, CEL, cuts off at idle, hear a soft droney whine like when theres not enough power steering fluid.

First time ever feeling these symptoms.

Any thoughts until I get this diagnosed? Just spent 2700 doing random repairs last week. Yikes.

What "random repairs" were performed? Sometimes those performing repairs knock a system loose. Don't disconnect battery terminals until the fault codes are pulled; check under the hood for obvious visual faults...loose battery terminals, unplugged modules, unsecured air intake (if has MAF sensor), loose spark and/or plug wire(s) not fully plugged on the spark plug (this happened to me), vacuum hoses and wire plugs off fuel rail pressure sensor, etc. Keep us posted.

So it sounds like two separate issues huh.

Ding Ding Ding.....You nailed it.

Another $2k down the money pit to fix both issues. The stalling issue is the crank sensor.
