CLS55 AMG DELETING MUFFLER or RESONATOR???

Hey guys !!! Im new to this club and i wanna understand a couple of things!!

Okay so im thinking of increasing the sound in the cls55 amg and i started reading some threads in order to reach to a conclusion...so i saw the best and the cheap way to do it is to delete the resonator or the muffler or even both i wanted to know what do you guys suggest if i make this step would i be able to undo the mods and make everything back to stock???

I've an 06 CL55 AMG with most of the bolt on mods. IMO...if you haven't headers; then maintain the resonators but delete the mufflers. If you have headers; delete the resonators, maintain the mufflers.

Oh okay so finally i decided that the resonator delete would be a better mod but im curious if there is any internal sound in the cabin (drone,etc...) everything in the car is stock
Anyone experienced any different sound inside the cabin???

*Oh and what do you mean if i dont have headers?? does the car comes with exhaust manifold system? sorry but im not familiar with the car parts

Headers; as in aftermarket mid-length or long tube exhaust runners. In a stock exhaust configuration, the resonators are placed as a means to attenuate mid-range (2000-3500 rpm range) exhaust note in-cabin drone. As the exhaust is opened up (freer flowing), the mid-range rpm operation may produce a non-resonant frequency drone. If deleting the resonators, an x-pipe can cause the drone to be produced at a higher RPM. Tubes that are terminated prior to mufflers can attenuate the drone exhaust pulses.

i was thinking about straight pipes and deleting the resonators...my main concern is that if will drone exist in a range 2000-2500 rpms on highway...

I'm placing a 3" X-pipe. You'll probably not have drone if straight piping.

Stock diameter pipe is 2.75" best go with this or 3". Ditching the stock exhaust manifold unleashed the motors potential...30+ hp/trq. with this alone. Set of Eurocharged or Kleeman mid-lengths are affordable. Then place 100 to 200 cell primary cats, 3" x-pipe, delete secondary cats, to stock resonators and mufflers = flow increase, decent, not over bearing sound without inside cabin drone.
