Positive Battery Cap

Anyone have an extra positive battery terminal cover with the caution label for my 08 CL65 that I can purchase?
Thanks in advance

I hope you still have the cover for the power distribution block adjacent to the battery. That's more of a risk if left uncovered.

As to the caution label, did that come factory equipped. If so, mine's long gone.

Yes the car has the distribution block cover. The caution label is factory equipped. I guess somewhere along the way someone put a new starter battery in the car and did not put the red terminal cover with the label back on the battery.

I show that part as "positive battery cap", part number 001-546-08-35 for about $3.50 each. Not certain if it has the warning text as shown in your picture.

Mark thanks for the reply. I ordered the cap but came in without the caution label which the dealer told me the label is obsolete. Trying to put the car back as when it left Germany. Any help would be appreciated.

Under "Body/Labels" in EPC, there's a part number, 230-584-05-17, with the following description:

Other Names: Battery Label, Caution Label, Guide Sign
Description: Battery, #1, Starter battery.
Notes: Order By Year, Model And Description.

Perhaps this is what you're looking for? This info came off of the mbonlineparts.com website in realtime and it shows up as orderable.

Mark that is the part number I'm looking for but Mercedes parts told me the part (Label) is obsolete. Any other suggestions?
Thanks Rick
