Last week I was fortunate (and smart enough haha) to pick up a black/black 05 CL55 with 18k miles. It is showroom new and literally has never seen rain. The owner Pebble Beach placing collection and drove this mainly Sunday’s. Storyboard sort of find.
I lowered it yesterday with links, deleted resonators today and have wheels on the way. I LOVE this car already. It’s the perfect all-around car. Here are a few questions:
1) the wood that surrounds the passenger seat controls is a little loose. Anyone know how it fastens so I can secure it better?
2) does a pulley and tune make a noticeable seat of pants difference?
3) I recall hearing somewhere about replacing the steeering buttons with paddles for like $150. But now cant find the post. Anyone done this? Details?
