How to replace HID Bulbs
Dear All, I have a lovely 2007 CL63 AMG, UK model. I have noticed the colour of the headlights although strong is less white than the majority of newer cars I see on the roads at night.

I guess over time the strength of HID bulbs diminishes and the car is 10 years old now.

Osram XENARC NIGHT BREAKER UNLIMITED DS1 seems the best upgrade.

Has anyone fitted them and do you really need to remove the front bumper as I have read somewhere..

Any step by step instruction would be great..

No need to remove the front bumper. A shop replaced mine in the past on my CL's they removed the front inner fenders to gain access.

You could do it either way. You need xentry though to put them in the removal position if you have the active curve illumination feature.
