is it my rear sam unit?
hi all i bought my 2001 cl55 amg around a year ago as a project car when i bought it the only things not working electrically were the parking sensors well when i say not working that depended on weather or not they wanted to or not, now as of late my passenger wing mirror doesn't dip anymore when put into reverse the indicator works when it wants then my central locking packed in nothing works via key fob or the button on the console so i changed the motor out i shipped over from the states now the motor primes for five seconds when i connect the battery but still nothing works also my rear sun blind has decided to stop working as well on top of that my stereo stopped working so i bought a bypass loop to work out what that was it pointed towards the amp when i bridged it everything came back to life but obviously no sound then that stopped working again i am starting to think that my rear sam unit is going bad any input would be great as i'm hitting a brick wall my instincts are telling me the sam is faulty and i think that's going to be the next port of call before i spend anymore money

I have the radio issue intermittently, and i have noticed my mirror now again dipping which is was not for a bit (need to make sure the wife is not messing with the settings) all locks/blinkers are fine ATM....

basically the switches on the dash send a signal to the sam then the sam activates the device linked to the switch u press everything on my merc is either can or sam controlled if the issues your having all relate to the same sam unit and all the fuses are fine the problem could be a defective sam i haven't changed mine yet but for 65 quid on ebay its worth a shot in the dark if you look at some vids on youtube the sams can cause all sorts of witchcraft

If so its wet as rivets in wheel well leak when raining.
