CL65 engine cleaning
Going to clean the engine with a spay on engine cleaner. Any precautions I should take? Maybe cover the alternator? Anything else? Thanks

Well, I've only had my car for about 2 months but I don't know that I would spray this engine with any kind of degreaser. Seems like there are to many expensive parts on this engine that I would not take a change on hosing it down. For me it's actually a joy to clean it by hand. This also helps me inspect everything as I clean. But let us know how it goes if you do proceed. Good luck.

there is no way to clean that on engine
you take the parts off, you polish
if you want a clean engine, and you want to spray products, do not use agressive stuff
spray W40 after that, to avoid corrosion
it might smoke a bit for 30 min, but that's ok
