Sure, the instrument cluster will be available at some point. I was busy with other projects for a while, but getting back to it now.
Ambient lighting system - available
Module/device control with atomizer/perfume integration - available
Controller retrofit - available on demand but will require a lot of modification of the center console
I would need the mph to go to 240 as the car goes 224mph
My car has a 6.3 brabus v12 that puts out 720hp and 800+ foot pounds of torque.
I am located in Ma so I think I am close to you.
Do you have a website
thanks Greg

Check the posted youtube vids for info/website links etc, or shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions.
So, the graphics for the cluster are about 90% final. Heavy coding ahead .
The custom display controller firmware is also done...which means the display can be controlled completely via i2C. This one was way more complicated than anticipated due to industry BS and secrecy.
The codebase for the cluster is also increasing dramatically...I should have a video sneak peak soon.
Sooooooo...graphics are finally done. Still need to work on some menus here and there but the bulk of it is done. Enjoy the pics...or not. If you don't like them then don't enjoy the pics Text is obviously all temporary and some of the menu layers are misaligned, etc. This is all because all this stuff will be saved individually and aligned in code later. All will be animated to give the interface an organic/logical feel.
This is gonna be the trip menu...with "cards" you can flip though, Kinda like the original menus. The "Time" and "Music" menus will be customizable to display a variety of things or can be hidden altogether for a cleaner look.
Made a clock and added cruise control and speed limit. Decided to cut the RPMs to 2 digits only.
Revised distronic distance indicator and distance setting, along with parking sensors open.
Nav Buttons that will be under the Map menu. Quick access to map settings and routes or full nav menu/settings. Map is a placeholder.
Now you just need to do a metric version as well so I can sell these for you.
Ha! It's already built in. You will be able to switch from/to metric in settings. Speaking of settings and features...If anyone has any specific ideas or things that you think should be built in, feel free to post.
The error displays - yeah it's nice to see a picture. The bad part is that there are roughly 150 error messages that are going to have to be coded . I will also improve the error messages in some cases, where I can be more descriptive than the standard "Do not change gear". I'll change it to "Your trans is *cked dude".
Sneak peak at the custom night mode map. 3D buildings, vector graphics and all. There's a lot of work going on figuring out map integration and deciding how to optimize performance for a variety of hardware. Graphics are also being finalized and cleaned here and there. More info here: Making Your Own Instrument Cluster – Graphics – Absolute Car Mods
Work has also begun on upgrading the graphics of Ambient Illumination apps and Module Settings apps to match the instrument cluster.
Another project on the horizon will be a custom built Android launcher that will use the same graphics and bring everything together nicely.

Sometimes no news is good news . We are basically coding a nav/gps interface, with custom graphics and all associated features from scratch, so it takes time. Currently debugging the address input/route selection section of it and working with the maps provider to figure out some bugs in their SDK. After that moving on to POI search and various other aspects. The good news is that both daytime and night time maps are fully customized and ready to go. Most of the coding is also figured out, so the implementation of the nav part of the cluster "should" be smooth sailing. I will post some update pics once the address interface is done.
You guys wanted an update so here it is. The MCU code is being worked out (the piece that communicates with the car). The navigation piece is 90% done. The nav engine slowed things down for a while due to bugs/missing features but almost everything is worked out now. I will take a break from this for other projects for a week or so, but things are going swimmingly . Pics below are from the running app, not just concepts. Small design tweaks are happening here and there as more features are added. Video of it will go up on youtube at some point. Enjoy!
Side note - I get a lot of questions about how long this is going to take and etc. There's a very big difference between making a native app that runs at 60fps with multiple threads and full hardware acceleration/shaders/transparency effects etc., and an Android app or some skin for your favorite dashboard app. Things will become evident when videos are posted. This is designed to run similarly to OEM clusters albeit on better hardware
No worries we’ll see what can be arranged when things are complete. It will probably never officially be for sale as it will be integrated in future cars that are now being made from scratch but that won’t stop us from making some one-of versions. Like and subscribe haha.
Updates from this week...Running on the cluster for a change...excuse all the dust on the cluster and the photo quality. The phone was freaked by all the LED lighting, First shot is with a clean screen for reference
- Rework of nav menu (added POI search, favorites and route info)
- Graphical work for nav menu (icons)
- Graphical work for route info (icons, background, animations, etc)
- Routing now displays route info (length, duration and tolls) when selecting a route
- Up to 3 separate routes are provided, interface highlights and centers on them as you select different ones
- Starting a new route while a route is in progress now prompts to cancel existing route
- Work started on modular, dynamically generated turn by turn instructions and arrows. Bottom bar shows distant but upcoming turns
- Left side shows next turn info
- Right side shows "next next" turn info
- Integration of nav instructions with the rest of the menus to make sure they display on top of everything else, not impair functionality etc.
- Font size adjustments
Up next:
- Implementing route info menu (cancel route, mute instructions etc.)
- Implementing POI search menu
- Implementing favorites menu
- Implementing settings menu for the navigation (directions, units, download maps, etc.)
Up next next:
- implementing settings for the trip menu
- Audio Menu
The interface will display settings for the current menu by holding OK. Settings for the left and right submenus will be accessed by holding left or right. Pretty easy?
Updates:
- New set of gauges with needle shaders, animated markings, etc.
- Shade effects for all the solid elements (gauges/status bar etc)
- Graphical rework of title bars for navigation and other popup items
- Graphical rework of popup menus/lists
- Graphical rework "metal" trim
- Rework of menu lists and animation timing. Selected items now smoothly increase in size when selected, selector indicator move duration increased.
- Implementation of destination menu
- Implementation of road list menu
- Implementation of route details menu
- Rework of route info menu
Remaining items for the nav section: favorites, POI search and nav settings, small graphical tweaks here and there. The mapping provider is still working to fix some bugs that were discovered.
New gauges (total of 3 so far) with submenus off. Numbers smoothly appear as the needle gets closer. Speedo displays street speed limit (current speed changes to larger/yellow if more than 20 over). Tacho displays cruise control info if set. You can see the shadow effects around the map.
Route info (up top) now displays the longest stretch of the route, which I always use to decide which way to go, along with duration, distance and tolls. Lots of calculations going on behind the scenes to get all this info, along with imperial/metric conversions if necessary.
New title bars and "metal" trim.
Active route menu. All options are functional. The chart on the bottom gives a percentage of the completed route.
Route info/details
Road list - a list of all the roads that will be used on the current route. No turns as I have never used that in my life, even though some nav systems include it. Most of the questions when picking a route are which highway is it putting me on and am I going on this or that road at all. NOT I wonder what every turn on the route is.
I am 3 weeks out on devoting a ton of time on my own similar project. It will be neat, but will not hold a candle to what you are accomplishing. Keep the updates rolling, they are inspirational!
