So I took a chance and recently acquired this '03 CL55 AMG (103,000 miles) for super cheap (well below wholesale) at a Manheim auction. So far so good. Mechanicals seem fine and most everything works. Only fault message is that SOS Telecom system is not working. OBDII reader didn't show any codes either. There were some things missing which I have been able to obtain on Ebay and minor repairs (mostly cosmetic) are in the works.
The jury is still out on the 20" fake AMG style chrome wheels though. What's got me puzzled is that all the red LED lights are on at both the ABC Sport and the ABC raise buttons and they won't go off. Wonder if a previous owner programmed the ABC control module to allow for the 20" wheels? Any ABC experts want to comment? Thanks.
