2008 CL65 Turbo Question

On my 2008 MB CL65 does the engine need to come out in order to remove the turbo? The turbo is leaking coolant when the
car is parked overnight and the out door temperature drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. They tell me the seal on the turbo is
leaking. Can anybody recommend any place to rebuild or reseal the turbo?
Thanks

They are just rubber orings on the turbos cooling lines that bolt on top and bottom of the turbo. There is also the oil feed and return lines right next to the cooling lines. Common leak on the v12s after 80k miles. They can be done without pulling the engine or turbo if it's the upper lines on the turbo leaking. If it's the bottom line it is just easier to pull the engine as the engine mount and engine mount bracket from the motor would need to be removed in the car which is practically impossible. Just the orings need replacement as the lines themselves are stainless steel and don't fail.it's a tricky job in tight quarters.

Thanks for the response so your saying the turbo has no internal seals or gaskets as they are all located on the exterior of the turbo?

Correct the turbo itself will not be leaking coolant thru any other portion of the turbo itself. As the coolant passages from the top to bottom are just a casted passage to cool the housing. It will not be leaking anywhere other then the upper or lower oring seals.
