1/4 Mile Times for CL55?
Out of everyone in this forum, has ANYONE actually taken their CL55 to an honest to goodness NHRA track yet? I really want to know what they run!
Please, no bench-racing about "I raced a blue Viper and he ran a 9 second quarter mile the year before, so I clearly run an 8". Scans of timeslips will be fine :-)
FWIW, my CL600 ran a 12.2 stock and an 11.7 with the Renntech (both somewhat traction limited).

I'd have to find my slips, but I believe it was 117-119.
Funny thing is I made multiple runs in the 11s and they didn't eject me for no 5-point rollbar, as they did when I ran 11.9 in my Vette. I guess the CL just flies under their radar :-)

What's the trick to getting these beasts off the line quickly? Seems everytime I try, the car breaks traction initially and the ESP goes nuts.
I don't have much experience with seriously powerful cars. My last car was an Audi TT 225QC.
Is there something basic that I don't know about?

I have has some slower runs with trap speed over 120mph.
