hi guys, hopefully someone has come across this issue:

so i drove my 2002 CL55K AMG (40,000 miles) this morning and anytime i go above 5mph, the passenger side 'door open' warning comes up in red and wont go away. i assume it is registering the door is open constantly and not just above 5mph but the warning light only kicks in above a certain speed.

after the car warmed up, i decided to give it some wellie and as soon as i put my foot down, 2 further error messages came up...

ESP (Visit workshop)
Speetronic Cruise (Visit Workshop)

I then also realised that the car is in LIMP mode.. it accelerates VERY slowly and i have never experienced this before.

I tried turning it off and on again etc but no luck.

Please if anyone has any idea what is going on, please let me know. the car hasnt been driven much recently but i keep it connected to a CTEK trickle charger so shouldn't be any battery issues with the main battery.

my theories are:

- on the passenger door warning light, may be a broken sensor or cable in the door assembly
- is limp mode connected to the car thinking the door is open? hopefully!
- other 2 warnings, i have no idea!

Obviously at this time i cant take it to a garage, but any advice would be appreciated
