I had recently got this car and it’s been amazing I’ve done all the maintenance and never noticed any thing wrong with the valves cover. I’ve recently had a leak at the fuel pressure regulator and noticed that the breather cover metal was chipping off and had pushed out dents on it and it was also wet in that area like a oil leak. I cleaned it up a bit I was wandering if I should leave it like this or buy new covers. And if this is a sign of something serious the car runs great.

I bet you either live by the coast and have salt air or live in a city that uses a ton of salt on the roads. Looks like salt corrosion. These covers are magnesium I'm pretty sure so make sure if welding all proper safety steps are followed. I know for sure the M275 covers are mag. I would myself just replace with new covers but a filler might last year's depending on conditions and cleanliness of application. The pics shown are off m275.

M275 V12 Biturbo i always pull covers (top covers not valve covers) and spray with wd40 when cleaning and wipe down to keep hoses and corrosion down to a minimum.
