Headlight turns off
Hey guys I am having a problem with my driver side headlight its pretty embarrassing but sometimes it randomly turns off and I get a low beam L message, I turn the lights off and back on and they come back on, it could last a couple min or hours on and then it could turn back off. This recently started happening. Does anyone know what it might be? I know when it first started happening it would not give me a low beam L message because my friend got out of his car and told me it was off until I restarted the lights and it comes back on. Please let me know thanks.

As HID capsules fail, this can happen. They lose the ability to maintain the electrical arc.
Swap the left and right bulbs and see if the problem follows.
If the problem follows, replace both bulbs.
