CL500 cam timing sensor

Hi ,

I've had a pending fault for a can timing sensor on bank one for a while now and today it finally gave up and caused really tough starts until eventually it just stops starting when warm/hot .

After some research and eliminating other causes I'm fairly sure it's the cam timing sensor . My question is though on this engine I'm led to believe that there is X2 sensors and one magnet on each bank , and when I'm searching for sensors to buy online I can't tell if they are identical (all 4) or if there is a difference between the 2 on each bank and if the fitting and angle is different on weather it is on bank one or bank two. Is there a difference or is it just the identical sensor just twice on each bank ? And am I right in thinking it's at the top front of the engine by the timing case and a simple cable out, bolt out sensor swap?
And is bank one on the (UK right hand drive ) the drivers side? So bank one drivers side which means cylinders 1-4 starting from furtherest away from driver ?

Thanks in advance
