I suffered an engine compartment fire in my 2003 CL55 AMG when the voltage regulator on the alternator overheated and failed.
I've repaired every wire except one that I cannot locate.
On the back of the alternator there is a connector with two wires coming out. One is blue, the other is blue/white. I've located the blue wire but cannot find any trace of the blue/white wire. Does anyone have a schematic that shows what those two wires do and where they go? Could someone possibly show show a picture of the connector and where the wires go into the engine compartment? I am literally one wire from being able to put this back together and get back to driving.
