2003 CL55 AMG keys not working after changing car battery.
- I’ve already changed the batteries on both my main key and the spare key
- Changed car battery yesterday and everything was fine. Drove it this morning to get tags changed at the DMV and now I’ve parked at home and it’s stuck.
- Can’t open the trunk to get to the new battery because the trunk doesn’t unlock. Not even with the mechanical key in the key fob. The drivers door was unlocked luckily when this happened so I have access to the drivers seat. The key will click into the ignition but won’t turn at all.
- I’ve tried to “reset” the key fob a number of different ways but none of that has had any affect.
- Checked every fuse I could get to but they’re all good
- brake lights are flashing and so are the front lower fog lights.
Any advice would be much appreciated before I have to haul this thing to the dealer.
