2008 CL65 AMG V12 M275 common issues
Good evening,
I am looking to purchase a 2008 CL65 AMG with the M275 engine. I would love to know the reliability of this engine and some of the common issues that may occur. The mileage is 49,000.

On the W216/W221 platform the ABC has been improved greatly since the original system in the w215/w220. With proper maintenance the ABC system will be fine. Make sure you change fluid and filter and pulsation dampeners. Do the preventative maintenance and the car will thank you. But do make sure the ignition coil packs have been changed already. When I bought my w221, it still had the original coil packs. I changed them just for peace of mind. Whatever the car costs, keep another 5k to 10k for maintenance. If the car is already sorted, you won't have to spend much in maintenance items.
