Rear Window Shade and Rear Headrest Inop
2013 CL63 with the rear window shade and rear headrests not working. I have looked and fuses 40, 80 and 81 and they look fine. Anyone have any ideas? The #40 fuse does affect both units but is shows fine. It is only a 7.5 A fuse so I feel it is driving a relay somewhere.

Similar Issue - I need to tint my rear window windshield and the Privacy Shade Curtain is Stuck open. The button is not working and I do not know how to collapse it manually or if that is even possible. Appreciate Any advice…..
I checked fuses, I tried to force it down, but the arms may break. Searched youtube for last two weeks. Nothing

It looks like you have a W211 E55. My limited understanding of these systems is that they are different. I think yours is mechanically operated via a dedicated motor and lever mechanism. I believe the S and CL class systems are rollers that are operated pneumatically. I did see a utube video that showed someone replacing a W210 unit. Don't know why he was replacing it as it was all in a eastern European language. Sorry I could not be of more help.

I did fix the issue. It was a relay (N) in my car. It was found in the rear behind the center armrest. Fixed both the shade and the headrest issue.
