How to change the Front Sidemarker lamp bulb
2010 cl550 pre facelift w216 here but the headlights are the same. Anyone can help find the instructions on how to access the sidemarker bulbs. Shame this message came up tonight as I just replaced both low beams and the left front cornering bulbs on Friday.

attempted...then gave up
I did much of what others stated, but when i saw where the bulb was as i looked up from wheel well, I decided to leave it to the shop. They popped one in during oil change charged me $25 for bulb +labor...worth IMO.

I changed my side markers within the past week. The driver side is harder, as you need to pop out the bulb/socket, flip it around, thread the new bulb in between various parts, flip it around again, and insert it. The space is too tight to remove the bulb/socket and pull it out of the car. I changed all the bulbs I could while I had the car apart, but was not able to get to either turn signal, nor the parking light on the driver side. The driver side in general is trickier, as there is a lot more equipment stuffed on that side of the car.
