Well..... The Weistech heat exchanger is a no-go for CL55 AMGs. Coolant outlet runs into oil cooler line (assuming this even fit in the first place), and holes drilled on bracket don't line up to much of anything, while interfering with other bolts. Furthermore, it does not sit flat on the front bumper bar, as it doesn't sit back far enough to avoid the downwards facing bulge on the bumper bar. The sweep of the tabs coming off the top of the intercooler also appear to have too much of an angle for the bumper bar. Will contact them to see what the deal is, but I am thinking they erroneously listed their product as compatible. Should have waited for the VRP intercooler to come back in stock...
Well, my bone to pick actually turns out to be with Vivid Racing: They've listed this HE as compatible with the CL55 AMG, which is NOT the case on Weistec's site. A lesson for all!
