hi guys. Please advise. I bought 2007 CL500 and I can feel that the shifting sometimes postpone, the kicks in. I was told it could be many things but was also told that that the first thing is to check level of the transmission fluid.

two questions:
1. Can I just check it with a universal transmission fluid dipstick bought online? See photo
2.what exact transmission fluid type can I use to just top up the levels (before I start servicing fully I want to make sure it’s not the lack of fluid inside)

Any help is very welcome

also what engine oil would I use to get my oil changed. I know it’s 8.5L but not sure if I should use the 10w40 or 5w30
