Best "GT" Car in this price range?
Interested in getting something more comfortable (Im 6'6" tall) for the garage that I can still fit my two boys in the back seats (8 and 6 years old) but is a bit more modern than my other cars (90s Corvettes and Mustangs) but more fun to drive than my daily (lifted 2016 GX460).
I've been interested in the CL55/65 for quite a while. For reference I've previously owned a 2005 G55 and am very impressed with the engine. Was able to do regular maintenance on it easily enough and Ive seen plenty of them handle higher miles with ease.
Am I looking at the right car for under $25K?
Im sure the E55 (w211) would be easier to maintain without the hydraulic suspension but would it be as comfy for someone my height? What other options should I consider? Or should i just find the cleanest CL55 I can and run with it?

IMHO, not a great vehicle for tall people. I had my seat all the way back and wished there was more legroom. When the seat was all the way back, no one with legs could sit in the back seat.
