Key won’t turn the ignition!
Hello everyone! So I have a strange problem with my car: it’s a 65 Amg W215 and has been sitting in a garage for a long time, and when I decided to start it to idle for some time it started, but shut off itself in about 30secs and since then key doesn’t do anything anymore: won’t turn the ignition, won’t lock/unlock the car, nothing… I changed the key batteries, car battery, no change. When I plug the battery, dashboard lights up and that’s it, nothing else. Any ideas would be helpful!

I would inspect the ground cables, fuses, and the driver-side SAM, which is the fuse box in the driver-side corner of under the hood. There is also a battery control module which should be checked out.
