cracked rim - pondering options
Hi all, I discovered yesterday that my slow fromt drivers side tire leak was in fact due to a cracked rim. My car and the wheels are mint, and I'm struggling to find a replacement in the same condition. So this had lead to thinking about selling the other 3 and replacing with aftermarket. I am generally a stock guy, but what do I have to take into consideration if I went to 19"? the car only has 50k miles and is totally stock with fully operational ABC. Appreciate any advice.

Can the wheel be fixed? I've had cracked rims fixed before with good results. If not you may have to replace the set and sell the cracked set, even if I would consider a cracked wheel, I wouldn't buy an incomplete set of 3. Fix them and keep them, fix them and sell them, or sell the set cracked.

Everything I hear says its not the best option, so I actually did find a refurbished wheel and thats on its way, but I still might take it in to see if it could be repaired as a spare.
