I am in the process of purchasing a 2008 CL65 with approximately 75k miles. I have the complete service history, and am getting a PPI tomorrow. My question is about aftermarket warranties. I know these cars can potentially be financially ruinous, but the lure of the 65 has me hooked. Does anyone have any experience with EasyCare or any other aftermarket warranties? I have about 5k per year budgeted for repairs, but want to do everything I can to ease the pain of maintaining an older AMG.

From most reputable companies, for any legitimate coverage, the vehicle needs to be a 2009 or newer.
