Catch can installation on M273 cl550, with photos!

Hi everyone, after changing the intake manifold on my 2007 CL550 (as a precaution, not a breakdown), I decided to install an oil decanter, to prevent the vapours from coming back in and damaging the intake. Below I leave how I did it, if you have any questions, I am at your disposal.

-Step 1: materials;
Black clamps

Black fuel resistance hose 3 meters x 10mm

Reducer adapter (2 unit) brass. (Opcional It is painted black with spray)

And catch can black.

Below is the assembly process and some photos, it is not difficult at all.
We locate the flow meter, and below the elbow that goes to the intake butterfly, we will see a tube that comes out of that elbow, towards the rear of the cylinder head, where there is a black plastic cover.
We cut this tube in half and insert the brass reducers with their clamps. We cut the hose we bought to the required length.
- instalation catch can:
The hose coming out of the black rear cover must be installed in the catch can inlet. And the hose coming out of the elbow below the flow meter must be connected to the catch can outlet.

I have attached it to the electric fan support, it doesn't rub against anything and it doesn't get in the way. I attached it with strong cable ties so as not to make holes in anything and to be able to return to normal if one day I sell it and the future buyer doesn't want it installed. (For space reasons it only fit in that space). I hope it helps, best regards!!
