Dash quit working on my CL55
I'm driving around town today, checking out wind damage in my 2006 CL55, and the lights on the dash that light up the numbers so you can see your speed and all that started flickering and kind of just died. The turn signals still flashed on the dash, the SRS light was still on, but no lights around the speed/rpm/fuel/etc. Then after a few more minutes, the entire dash died. The tachometer, speedometer, nothing was reading anything different than what it was when it died. According to the needles, I was still going about 15mph, my RPM was staying at 1500 or whatever, but no reaction from anything. The windows still work, fan was still working, radio still came on (though it's never actually worked), sunroof would work, but no dome lights either, and they usually work. When I used the turn signal, there was no audible clicking like normal, but when I got to my cousin's house to drop him off, I could see my headlights were on in the reflection of his car's bumper, even though I didn't have the lights turned on. But he walked around the car and I still had turn signals and brake lights and all, just no dash.
Is there a common issue I can check out? Maybe a wire has just worn out over time due to something rubbing it, or maybe a module I can check out? It'd be nice to know my car's fuel level, speed, coolant temp, etc.
