Under 1 volt at trunk power opening pump's leads when attempting to operate

I've been looking with little success in regards to finding the ground for the trunk's opening pump ground/power point.
Some back-story and history-
The old pump was a blob of rust, toast.
I replaced the pump and ram assembly, and had very sporadic/limited success with its operability.
Rarely, and only for a brief period of time, the trunk would open and/or itself close with very little rhyme or reason. The trunk button, door button, and key button were sporadic but have been reliable lately, engaging the trunk's pneumatic relase puck. Cleaned all relevant connections I could find along with fuse 57, no real change.
Now it is completely inoperable. The relay in the trunk clicks, but there is no life from the motor/pump.
HOWEVER, the leads to the pump do energize slightly. 90-300mV, nothing more.
As such, my rolling assumption is that this is all related to the pump's power circuit, be it ground or hot wire. I have no idea where this circuit grounds, however. Not much luck finding a w215 or w220 diagram either.
Anybody have one?
Thoughts appreciated.
