what are my options for a phone
i dont have the phone option on my 01 CL55. what woul be the best option, get a factory to install a complete kit? or are there some good after market solutions available?

You can do a install of the factory phone/voice control system for around $1500.00 which would include the Motorola v60 phone as well. I did this on my 2001 CL55.
If you look on Ebay sometimes you can pick up most the parts for dirt cheap.
Or you can go for the European UHI system that Steve (MBenzNL) is selling.
I think the UHI system is more expensive but will allow use of far more phones and has other options as well.
