Automatic window problem

Hey guys in my '02 CL6 it seems the auto windows don't quite want to work everytime. I am talking about the auto/up feature after you close the door. This has nothing to do with rolling the window up/down by the switch.

Sometimes, I shut the door, and the windows forget to go up! I thought I was crazy at first and maybe I had not shut the door fully. So I crawled out the passenger side, and sure enough the door is shut, I can drive the car, but the driver's windows are left cracked open until I hit the window up button.

This is an intermittent problem. It happens once out of every 10 times. I have been to the dealer twice, they say they reset some module, but that does not fix the problem.

When it does not work, if I open and shut my door a SECOND time, it works.

Does anyone know what is up here?

Take it back to the dealer. They will probably change the module or the motors (due to faulty hall sensors).

Windows Up ? Sometimes no.

My 2000 CL500 will do this about every 1 in 20 times.

Normally just open & reclose the door and all is well.
Or hit the up window button.

I know if I take it to the dealer it wont do it
when I want it to.

It turned out to be an incorrect battery of all things. The dealer replaced the MB battery and all is fine with the window. But now sometimes my steering wheel won;t go all the way to its memory position and the folding mirrors will not go all the way back out upon opening the door. So its going back to the dealer again.
