Whats the consensus here on the powerchip? does anyone have one? Sounds interesting but it scares me to think someone other than MB is telling the engine what to do with fuel and ignition. Just wondering if anyone has used one and what their impressions are.

It isn't what the chip does to the car that scares me, is what happens when something goes wrong and MB doesn't cover it under warranty. As far as dealer relationships goes, my understanding is that Kleemann has nearly blanket permission to modify mercedes and still retain the full warranty of the car. I am told this is true because of how open they are about what they are doing with the cars to mercedes and have almost attained old-school AMG status with mercedes. Plus they are the cheapest of the big three: Brabus, Kleemann, RENNtech.
