Found this in the AMG Press section. What a price jump compared to in the U.S. I wonder if this price is incorrect?

Yes, the price is correct - in Australian dollars which aren't the same as US dollars.

Australia has a heavy luxury car tax which makes nice metal much more expensive than the US. Our only consolation is that some other markets like Singapore and HK have even higher taxes.

The price of these are $459,900 plus on road costs, rego, stamp duty etc.

That car in Malaysia would cost around USD 660k or AUD 846k

An S350 is selling for around USD 265k or AUD 340k... damn duties and taxes

I saw a Black SL65 AMG in Bondi Westfield carpark 1 week ago, sick ride, luxury cars are generally more expensive in Oz, damn taxes
