Beautiful car. Just needs to have the road rash touched up. That's a lot of rash for 40K miles.

Sae. On a supposed "low" reading dyno. My cammed c6z only made 530rwhp on the same dyno in the same conditions.

chips/curb rash were all previous owner. I've only logged 12k miles in 3 years.

Prob just keep and use as a daily driver. This car cannot be replaced.

I just threw it out there. $45k is a reasonable/fair price. if it does not sell, no biggie-I'll just keep zo6 & viper owners scratching their head when they can't catch me. I've got a lot of things on my plate now and the car just sits, especially now in the 100+ Vegas heat. Plus, I kinda have an itch for a newer car. I thought about using as daily driver, but I have a cl500 that already serves that purpose.

Consider it sold if there is any chance you can drive it to Toronto. No joke - nice car and at this price in Canada, you would have multiple offers

Best of luck on the sale.
Igor.

That CL is just pure perfection! So much car for so little money. I wish I had room for another car. I bet it is a beast to drive.

Your worst nightmare...
John, Sorry to see her go, but after a while the car just doesnt give you much excitement. Its somewhat why I let my car go, aside from other personal reasons. I went back to the E55 since it was a bit easier to throw around and just added the V12. LOL

I have picked up a 993TT which should cure most of my itches.

Hope she finds a good buyer.

Hey any luck with the sale??? If not I was wondering if you would consider parting out some of the aftermarket parts assuming you kept the stock I/Cs and air boxes. Send me a PM I am interested. Maybe there is more interest in a low miles 65 if its in stock form.

Not much interest regardless of mileage. Too many things can go wrong and the repair prices are inline with a $180,000 car. Even the SL65's have come way down in price over the last year or so.

You may be right that there isn't a huge interest to these on the boards, and the maintainence can be pricy, but for the most part people are always comparing dealer or warranty part/pricing when most repairs can be done at a fraction of the cost at independants or by the owner. I think these cars have retired from their daily driver lives from those who could afford to buy/lease them new and ended up in the hands of people who really like the car and the concept of 600+ hp from the factory. (my guess the majority of board members) The price hasn't drastically changed on the CLs over the last 3 yrs maybe $2,000-$2,500 per yr. comparing like mile cars. By no means are they an investment. I think these cars will be settling into their third home where they will stay. They will be worked on by the owners and valued for their craftsmanship despite their flaws. Not to say there aren't other powerful cars, but anyone that wanted a W215 would put CL65 at the top of their list. At this point who knows how many low mile cars are left. As far as the SLs of course they will be dropping with another new body style out, its only making the 05-07s look old. Sorry to go off topic, but hopefully the OP can find a home for what the car is worth and if not maybe find a reason to keep it!!!
